Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are a group of master students from the University of Bath conducting an Action project as part of our degree. We have such a great opportunity to raise awareness and money for Marie Curie in general and the Talk about it Campaign in particular. The campaign is orientated around supporting people, if and when they're ready, to open up earlier and talk about death and dying. With your donation, Marie Curie can improve the quality of their free support line services and free bereavement services.
Some people might think Talk about it Campaign is only suitable for adults and elderly people who may not know where to start or what may be helpful to talk, plan and prepare for a good end of life. However, we are here to help people realise that MILLENIALS should talk about it too. Apparently, ways to approach the subject of death and dying vary between age groups. For Millennials, when talking about this subject, it tends to be about how to cope with grief and loss, how to open up conversations with their elderly relatives and other related topics. By supporting the campaign, we aim to raise awareness among young people about grief and bereavement, to encourage them to talk about grief and bereavement and to suggest ways to open up conversations about death and dying with their elderly family members. Besides, we aim to provide them with information about the range of free services available at Marie Curie that can help them to overcome difficult times.
Please donate as your donation makes a difference.
