Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit DHL Red Shifts JustGiving page. The team - Robert Garvin, Mitch Tayles, Steve Glover, Tony Fitzhenry, Steve Williams, Simon Ingram, Stephen Butler, Laura Jacobs and Ross Clark are completing the 3 highest peaks in the British Aisles within 24 hours!!!
The chosen charity is the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust (registered charity number 1069269). The Trust offers research and medical equipment at a specialised laboratory in London, which aims to improve current medical processes and introduces innovative solutions to medical problems including analysing bloods, treatments and testing new methods in the battle against Leukaemia.
The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust also supports people diagnosed with Leukaemia and their families, to take short breaks at a small respite centre based in a countryside setting, so the family can enjoy some quality time away, whilst still being able to access medical professionals and treatment.
The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust also provides complimentary therapy in the form of home visits from a therapist, which provides people diagnosed with Leukaemia advice and relief from pain. This is can be through discussions, where hints and tips are available, or simply a person to talk to about what they are experiencing.
