Story
Hello everyone!
In less than a months time I will be taking on a 4 day cycle ride from Vietnam to Cambodia covering 250kms! The last time I picked up a bike I was 10 years old, but when I heard what this challenge was in aid of I couldn't say no. (Visiting Cambodia had nothing to do with it...I swear).
The British Asian Trust work hard to tackle key issues such as education, poverty, and child trafficking. Their mission is to unlock the potential of people living in South Asia.
"Human trafficking is the fastest growing global crime. We must act now, locally and globally to protect the most vulnerable.Thirty Million people live in modern day slavery - more than at any other time in human history. Almost half live in India. In fact, Over 40 million children in South Asia are vulnerable to trafficking: exploited, abused, prostituted, or bonded into manual labour."
Please help me raise money for this very worthy cause as I trade in the pavements of London for the endless miles and country roads of Cambodia in what will be my most challenging feat yet!
