Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Family JustGiving page.

We (Deven & Bhavna) have created this page this year as we'll be running the marathon! That's right, we are running the London Marathon; for those of you who know us well, know that we don't run, we don't like it, we don't enjoy it and we definitely aren't confident but knowing the cause we are running for motivates us and has given us the boost we need.

Our beautiful mum and mother in law grew her wings nearly 10 years ago and became the biggest star we can see in the sky. In loving memory we have decided to take this plunge and give back to the hospice that gave so much to mum and us.

In additional to this, we will be holding small fundraising events throughout the rest of the year as a family to help us reach our target.

Event 1. The fundraising will kick off with our beautiful girl cutting her long Rapunzel like locks, to raise money for St Lukes Hospice (hair to be donated to The Little Princess Trust).

Please donate generously to our amazing cause, we'll be coming out of our comfort zones, working hard, shedding a few tears but most importantly, we will be having an immense amount of fun too, just like mum would have wanted us to!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
