Asalaamu Alaikum (Peace Be Upon You) our fellow humanitarians. 

We are hosting our second Charity Car Wash to raise funds for Pakistan Floods Emergency Appeal on Sunday 18th September. 

We have chosen to work with Muslim Charity whose emergency relief teams are supporting flood affected families through the provision of cooked meals and monthly food packs. Teams are on the ground continuously assessing the situation for planning the rehabilitation and emergency support projects. The immediate needs include cooked food, water, emergency shelter and medical aid.

Flash floods caused by monsoon rains have devastated Pakistan. Almost one-third of the country could be underwater by the end of monsoon season.

The floods have affected more than 33 million people and destroyed homes, crops and roads. Emergency aid is needed to respond to the floods to help displaced people get food and shelter, and to help rebuild the country.
