Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Running through the Namib Desert in Southern Africa this month is going to be one of the biggest challenges of my life. I've been preparing hard for nearly 18 months.....and I'm ready!

250km of desert sand stands between me and the finish-line. I've never run this sort of distance before, and certainly not in these sort of conditions, carrying all my supplies and equipment required for 5 days racing.

I really hope that you can find a donation for Dementia UK not matter how small. I tried to find a big challenge to justify your generosity. And remember that I am paying ALL my own expenses so that all of your donation goes to Dementia UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I am live  tracked on the organisers website through-out the race. This will be available from the beginning of the race starting at about 9am on Monday 20th November. Visit www.beyondtheultimate.co.uk

Thank-you for your generosity.

Desert Dawn

(Don't confuse me with Dessert Dawn who is asking for sponsorship for a cake-eating-Challenge)
