Story
In the UK and Ireland, around five children are diagnosed with cancer each week. Thats around 1820 each year.On average, 82% (over 8 in 10) of all children survive their cancer for five years or more. However, for some types of childhood cancer, cure rates are much lower and less progress has been made. Further research is urgently needed.Cancer remains the number 1 cause of death by disease for children. Sadly, around 230 children die from cancer each year. Childrens Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) is a leading national charity and expert voice for all childhood cancers, funding world-class research and supporting young patients and their families. In collaboration with the British Heart Foundation. I am doing a London to Brighton bike ride on June 19.. Please, sponsor me to support this charity, every little helps.
