We are raising money on behalf of our beloved husband, father, brother and friend Derek, who sadly was taken from us prematurely due to unknown complications of cardio vascular disease. 

Derek was a charismatic, loveable and infectious person, who touched a lot of people's heart with his warming personality. He was the absolute life and soul and was able to light up any room he walked into. He would always put others first and will be greatly missed by everyone. 

The family want to extend their gratitude to the Midlands Air Ambulance who worked tirelessly to save Derek's life, but unfortunately on this occasion were unable to. As the Air Ambulance rely solely on private funding, we want to raise as much as we can for this amazing charity so they are able to continue in their efforts to help save other people’s lives. We also want to donate half of the money raised to the British Heart Foundation, so they are able to continue their research into heart and circulatory diseases. 

 Any donation is greatly appreciated.
