I stupidly got talked into doing a half Ironman (cheers Brusk) and have only ever completed one sprint triathlon before so this is a VERY big step up for me.

As you will know I LOVE nature, but it is really struggling at the moment. Animals are losing habitat and getting caught out with anthropogenic changes. But there is hope! Oak & Furrows is dedicated to helping these little creatures. Last winter they looked after around 150 hedgehogs who wouldn’t have survived the hibernation. They also rescued lots of other animals- over 4000 in fact.

The problem is that Oak & Furrows also almost didn’t survive the winter. They rely solely on donations to keep afloat and will go under without our help.

So please dig deep and sponsor me if you can. £20 can buy a heat pad to keep sick animals warm, £80 buys special hedgehog formula food.

I aim to raise £500 to assist with the much needed running cost. Please help.
