The Hiscox Tourmalet Challenge takes place in the Pyrenees mountains of southern France to raise monies for a number of charities.  We will cycle Stage 8 of the 2016 Tour de France the day before the professionals.   The 147km includes 4 punishing mountain climbs including the iconic Col Du Tourmalet.   

Each competitor is allowed to raise money for their chosen charity, and I have chosen Young Minds.  Children need more support and awareness of  mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.  The government and NHS are not doing enough to protect and support the vulnerable.

As Hiscox are arranging the event, I will start the justgiving fundraising by donating £200.
