We are a group of friends, who, on 21st October, will be trekking to Everest Base Camp to raise funds for Bookmark, a charity very close to our hearts, to help support the incredible work that they do.

About 200,000 children leave primary school in England each year unable to read to the expected standard. These children struggle for the rest of their education and beyond, which has a devastating impact on their life chances.This must change and at Bookmark, we want to make the biggest difference we can, for as many children as possible.We are a new charity with a mission to mobilise a community of volunteers to provide dedicated reading support to children who need it most.
