Story
I am aiming to support St Richard's Hospice by taking part in the "100K; Your Way" challenge, as I wish to raise vital funds to help support local people living with life-limiting illnesses. There has been a significant decrease in funds available to the Hospice because of the pandemic; their charity shops, which raise large amounts of money, have been closed, several high profile fund-raising events have had to be cancelled and donations from companies have decreased.
For my daily exercise, I have purchased a second-hand bicycle, and I hope to cycle my way to 100K in the coming weeks. I would very much value your support.
Your donations will keep me motivated; Thank you very much indeed!
UPDATE:-
Having received a prompt from JustGiving, and massive encouragement from our family, I wish to record my enormous gratitude to everyone who has donated to St. Richard's Hospice. I have reached my target distance today. However, being of an older and "at risk" category, I tend to use the standard Imperial units. Thus, I have decided to extend my challenge and aim for "100 Miles; My Styles", which is approximately 1.6 times further!
I have enjoyed cycling around Bredon Hill and surrounding areas, and thank you once again for your support of St. Richard's Hospice.
With best wishes and much appreciation.
