Story
Between 7th - 19th October 2017 we will be in India taking part in a challenging trek through the Himalayan mountains and carrying out tiger conservation work.
Days 1-3 will be spent travelling to our starting destination in India. Days 4-7 we will be trekking through the mountains at an altitude of 2843m. Each day we will cover up to 9 miles and at night we will be bunking down in tents under the stars. We will then spend the next 4 days at Kahna National Park helping staff with the work the do protecting the Tigers.
Now although during this trek we will be offering our skills to help out the big cats of the world, we have our own little cats back at home to take care of too.
The money we are raising is for Cats Protection's busy Dereham Adoption Centre which rehomes approx 500 needy cats each year.
The funds we raise will go towards helping the build of new homing pens for the cats in their care. Something more sturdy and weatherproof to keep the cats safe and warm from the elements.
The fundraising will prove as big a challenge as the main event itself!
Leading up to our Indian adventure we will be holding numerous events, carrying out mini challenges, collecting sponsorship and doing just about anything we can think of to raise money!
Please follow and support our efforts - it is genuinely appreciated/ Thank you.
