I thought I'd hung up my marathon running shoes after completing the Chicago Marathon in 2019. However, the World Marathon Majors organisation had other ideas and invited me in December 2022 to run Boston in April 2023.

I'd dreamt of running Boston, it's a very prestigious marathon but it's also very difficult to get a place as it's the only major that doesn't have a ballot system for entry. So, an invite was too good to dismiss!!
