So I am jumping out of a plane for charity. Skydiving has always been on the list of things I've wanted to do but so is being a part of good causes that can help those in need. Endeavours Adventures and Herts RaG, has given me the opportunity to do both! I am honestly a little anxious the more I think about the jump and how I am going to  raise the money as I have never done this sort of thing before. However, I am still excited as the best things in life are just outside of our comfort zones! 

The money raised from the skydive will go towards RaG's three chosen charities - REACT (local), Ronald McDonald House Charities UK (national), and Women for Women International (well..international).

React is a small charity whose mission is to improve the quality of life for terminally ill children living in low-income families. The charity provides a varied range of equipment and aid to families, easing the pressures of caring for a seriously ill child at home. The charity also offers respite holidays and very sadly, assistance towards end of life costs.

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provide free ‘home away from home’ accommodation (24/7, 365) to families with seriously sick children in hospital for as long as they need. All their Houses are moments away from the specialist children’s ward so families are always close by.

Women for Women International supports women who live in some of the world’s most dangerous places. Women enrol on the charity’s year-long training programme, where they learn how to earn and save money, improve their family’s health and make their voices heard at home and in their community. Since 1993, the charity has helped over half a million marginalised women survivors of war in 8 conflict-affected countries.
