Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Okay, I know it's a large amount of money but this cause is so important to me.
Sadly I watched my father tragically die from prostate cancer, and not long after I was diagnosed with it when I was only 42 years old. After surgery I fought my cancer with diet and daily exercise, and my faith was also very important to me. Working as a personal trainer and giving motivational talks on fighting my cancer I have found it's good for my health to help other people.
1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime, and this figure increases to 1 in 4 black men. So it is vital we raise awareness and much needed funds for research, to make the future a better and healthier place for men and their families.
After appearing on Britain's Got Talent I went on to win No 1 national and world champion for natural bodybuilding in the Over 60s World Bodybuilding Championships in the USA. I have also written a book called "A man dies every hour" soon to be updated to "A man dies every 45 minutes".
Cancer is a scary place to be, but I've had a second chance at life - I am now 65 years young!
I want to use my story to inspire others and am asking if you can share my page and help by donating any amount you can spare. If 500,000 people gave £2 each I would reach my target and make a real difference.
Thank you for reading and helping me achieve my dream, Denton
