At the end of last year with Hugh's encouragement I committed to do the Tough Mudder in June this year.

Its an event that raises money for Bowel Cancer Uk and in particular to enable 9000 UK GP surgeries to implement a new procedural protocol. This will allow 18 million people to access a faster screening procedure. The event takes place on the 24th June in the Midlands.

My beloved Hugh was Diagnosed with Primary Brain Cancer and passed away peacefully on 24/04/2023. I know he would want me to continue to raise money in his name for the event in the Midlands.  Cancer where-ever it is, is a devastating disease, it changes lives for ever.

Hugh will be there with me in spirit every step of the way just as we had planned but it will only be me getting muddy my lovely man will be watching me from above.
