The Rugby March · 13 March 2022 ·

We are walking six miles through Bristol to raise money for St Peters Hospice, before celebrating together at the live Bristol Bears V Harlequins rugby game at Ashton Gate.

Story

Den, Dad, Grandad and Uncle Den, passed away peacefully at home, aged 90, on 26th January 2022.

His final days were made so much more comfortable by the outstanding care provided by the St Peter’s Hospice visiting carers. Their professionalism, but also uplifting good humour, was a great comfort for both Den and the family.

The family is taking part in The Rugby March on 13th March and hope these funds will enable St Peter‘s great people to continue their essential work in Bristol.

St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Their commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All of their care is provided free of charge, but it costs them around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money they rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.

Please help us in any way you can.
