My name is James Allen & when I was 3yrs old I was really poorly. I suffered with a condition called Meckels Diverticulum & after my operation I spent 4 weeks in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit.  Not only did they save my life - but they were an amazing support to my family, allowing my mum to sleep in the family room so she was nearby at all times.  I want to do this now to repay them - to thank them or everything they did then & continue to do for others now.
