Last year the Magnificent 7 rode their bikes for 25 miles raising a staggering £1500 (wow).This year we are off again with a leisure walk, a gentle bike ride of laps around Carsington Waters. The teams aim is to raise money and add miles to the Boots miles for Macmillan challenge. Events get underway on Thursday 6th October (10am) and if you feel you can support the team, by sponsoring them as a team or individual, then please do so.

The wind blew (& BLEW) and it was a struggle. We encountered the worlds worst barmaid and the car park where you had to take bikes off your roof rack to get in. 4 laps for Simon. 3 for Michael, 2 for Dennis and a great effort from Rachel who completed 1 lap. It was difficult with the wind. Our walkers were excellent completing their trek comfortably apart from Jamal blinding all with his bling trainers. Gwyn who was so distracted by those trainers missed a cow pat (more to the point did not miss a cow pat.)
