1066 chapter charity ride 2021, 12 June 2021
We are the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and we're leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.

Story

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.Anyone can hit crisis point. CALM run a free and confidential helpline and webchat 7 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs to talk about lifes problems.

This is a chapter ride which a few of us are doing to raise funds for CALM.

All of us know people that have had to deal with mental health issues and this has made is all more aware of the issues that people have faced through COVID

I personally am doing this challenge to prove to myself that I have a strong mind! Doing the mileage we will be doing in 4 days is similar to doing the 100k endurance races I have done in the past.

I just wanted to have a personal challenge whilst paying it forward to others.

I have always tried to live by the pay it forward motto and this challenge is my way of helping others

Please all donate to a) help the chapter and myself to reach our target b) to help CALM help others that are in such a desperate need for help

So dig as deep as you can and help us all reach and smash our targets

Thank you from someone who will be tired and have a numb bum at the end of the ride.5 capitals and castles in 4 days 😁
