A few months ago in a moment of madness I said to my friend Philippa - 'Do you fancy doing the Moonwalk with me?'.  There have been times since then when we have both wondered what on earth we were thinking.  In the main we  enjoyed ourselves and benefited from getting out into the fresh air and improving our work /life balance  (some of you who read this will get what we mean!)

And .......... we did it - we finished and in a fairly respectable time - 9hrs 30 mins, which considering how long we spent standing still waiting to cross the road and in the loo queue seems pretty good for first timers!  We enjoyed ourselves most of the time - fab to see all the sights of London at night and having the traffic stopped by police cordons so we could enjoy the route in safety. Wonderful volunteers all the way round at the water stations etc - really gave us lots of encouragement.

One of the best moments? Crossing the finish line and being told how fresh we both looked!!

Apart from the challenge of the walk we also have the challenge of raising money for walkthewalk.  So, if you are reading this hopefully you will be thinking about digging deep and sponsoring us online (if we haven't already got you with the old fashioned paper version!)
