Story
I am going to jump out of a plane - I am hoping there is a parachute involved. I must check! Anyway I’m DOING IT!
Why? 2 very good reasons.
Because I’ve ALWAYS wanted to and thought it was too late but now I’ve got new hips and I need to get it in before I’m 64. I’m scared of heights mind. It’s kill or cure.
The other fabulous reason is because I have been given this challenge to face my fear by Tonic, Music for Mental Health and I want to tell you about what they do.
Tonic is a charity in my home town of Portsmouth that does what it says on the tin. It uses music to help those of us who battle with mental health issues (isn’t that us all after a year locked down?) and brings rafts of joy and hope to my community.
Choirs, Lessons, Drop in centre, an ear & more. Really encouraging necessary stuff, especially at a time like this. We need to rebuild from the floor up, so I’m jumping out of the sky for my community! I aim to earn £1000.
Please be generous, I know I’m punching high.
