Story
Life can be hard sometimes; maybe work is a challenge or frustrating, there is always more month at the end of the money, and you seem to have less and less time off to do the things you want.
But if you have your health, you have everything.
For some, terminal illness puts all the irritations of day-to-day life firmly into perspective....
We moved to Widley in February 2010 - just down the road the local hospice "Rowans" has a team of amazing dedicated staff making life for those in the twilight of their days just that little bit easier and bearable. For their families they provide invaluable support.
On 18th June Jeremy and I are walking the 2011 Moonlight Memories walk around Portsmouth seafront - from Eastney to the Hard and back, in aid of Rowan's Hospice. This is a 12 mile night time walk that starts at 11pm at Southsea Common.....it could be cold, it could be blowing a gale (which it often is down there!) and it could be pouring with rain, but I hope you'll support our joint effort - we're doing it in memory of all the friends and family we have lost, and in thanks for those we still have around us.
Please donate whatever you can to help us along the way.
Much love
Denise & Jez xx
