Girl Scout Travel is not a vacation but a project in which girls participate:  researching, planning, fundraising, teaching and working together to create an adventure of their own.  We need your help so more girls can take part in these types of life changing experiences.  Not all girls have the same resources, and while selling Girl Scout Cookies is a major part of fundraising for travel, limited access to customers to support the sale is a reality for many local Girl Scouts.

I have personally experienced and witnessed the growth of girls in the ability to carry out an adventure whether it's to a new city or a new country.  Meeting people of different backgrounds, seeing how other people live and the first-hand experience of troubleshooting "on the fly" are invaluable experiences that help girls become confident leaders.
