Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving Page.

As many of you know in April 2018 I was diagnosed with tongue cancer and without the help and support from my husband Rob, family, friends and work colleagues it would have been an even bigger challenge to cope following my surgery and radiotherapy treatment, which enabled me to conquer this cruel disease.

St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice have been supportive throughout my treatment so as a thank you I will be taking part in the Midnight Walk (10 miles) on Saturday 29th June 2019 starting at Reaseheath College, Nantwich and on to Crewe Railway Station and then back to the College.  Rob, my Sister Sandra and Brother In Law Keith will be joining me and if needed carrying me!!  I want to use this opportunity to raise money towards the funds needed to help support this wonderful facility. It costs nearly £9,000 to run the hospice for 24 hours so any amount raised is greatly appreciated.

Thank you again for taking the time to read my story and I hope you will join me in helping St Luke’s to continue to provide support to patients in our Community.
