As President of Mansfield Rotary Club in our 90th year I wanted to take on a challenge that would stretch me like never before, whilst raising funds for the Mansfield Local Community and Charities which Rotary support....So, I am walking the Coast to Coast !!

This is a challenge for me, as not long ago I didn't even walk to the corner shop.  But once I started walking I was not even put off when someone pulled up in a car next to me and said "are you alright Denise", whilst out on one of my first road walks.

BUT now I've taken to the hills and dales, whilst putting in the miles get myself in the best possible shape to achieve over 200 miles of walking in three National Parks.

I could not do this alone, so I have asked Rotarian Cate Hunt to join me.  Cate is a very experienced walker and I couldn't ask for a better "walking buddy".  We are both looking forward to the challenge that awaits us as Cate has never walked the C2C before and both of us cant wait to get started, but more importantly raise vital funds for our Local Community.
