Story
Our lovely Barbara Pott very sadly passed on Thursday 18th November 2021 after after the bravest fight. Barbara was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis 8 years ago and was given the opportunity to have a single lung transplant 6 years ago. She did everything possible to look after her new lung, keeping up with her exercises and joining the local choir... not that she needed an excuse to sing!
We will always remember her resilience and positive attitude to every obstacle she encountered. I hope everyone who knew her never forgets her fighting spirit, love of a good drink and dance and making the most of life (and always being immaculately groomed!)
Raising money for the British Lung Foundation will help them continue their vital research into finding a cure for this disease.
