I've talked the talk, time to do the walk/run.....! Tomorrow I will be entering my first ever half marathon to help raise money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital. I feel very proud to be participating in this event, alongside  two other first timers, Alison Robbins and Coral Garlick. For those of you who know me well the most important part of my training has consisted of refraining from my usual Friday nights in the White Horse. It's been tough! Additionally I have for the last month been running for two hours every Sunday to ensure I complete the distance. I have in effect "personally trained" myself and what a lovely guinea pig I have been!

Mark and I are so lucky in that we have never so far had to visit this incredible hospital. We have three happy, healthy children. It is the thought of them and those children who are not so fortunate that will power me around those Parks.
