HELP TO SECURE A POTENTIAL £2000 MATCH FUNDED DONATION
On Sunday 30th June myself, along with my family, will be taking part in the Charity Walk for Peace, in aide of Christ Church New Malden Primary School PTA. This is to raise much needed funds for our school, as well as help to raise awareness of this charity and promote their message, 'Love for all, hatred for none'.
I am parent at Christ Church New Malden Primary School. I learned about the Charity Walk for Peace (CWFP) through the Head Teacher, who has been a long term supporter. I have come to know the kind, selfless and generous work of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association (AMEA), the organisation behind this incredible charity.
What the charity does is run fundraising activities, the CWFP being the largest. Any associated costs are borne by the AMEA meaning that 100% of funds raised are then donated back to local and national charities. In addition to this, they also offer a matched funding scheme, whereby, in addition to any funds raised for the CWFP, they will not only donate 100% of these funds back to the fundraiser, but they will also match fund up to £2,000.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
To be a maximum beneficiary of their matched funding scheme, we need to raise at least £2000 in donations. All donations will be given back to the School PTA, and topped up with up to £2000 in matched funding. I'm sure you'll agree this is a win, win situation for all!
The PTA's recent ability to replace the infant field with AstroTurf (summer 2017) and support of the infant playground's revamp (planned autumn 2019) has only been possible through the hard work, commitment and generosity of its parents.
So, once again, I am asking for your continued support and donate today! Your contribution will, effectively, be matched by the CWFP and will make a huge impact on the resources available to improving your child's learning experience at our school.
Please donate as much or as little as you can, it all counts towards the final figure! If you would prefer to donate in person, you can drop off donations at either school office marked for my attention (Denise Lieu-Jenkins)
MORE ABOUT THE WALK
This year we shall be holding our flagship event at Milton Keynes, in association with MK Dons Football Club and the MK Dons SET Charity, on 30th June 2019 and would welcome you to come and join us to help serve humanity by collecting donations for the most deserving people in our society. This event is complemented with many local and regional functions throughout the year to support the various beneficiaries. If you are not able to attend this national event, please rest assured that very similar smaller-scale walks happen all around the country to which we would welcome you to attend.
