This page is to celebrate the life of a special lady and raise money for a worthwhile charity in her memory.

In 2010 my dear friend Ann was diagnosed with skin cancer closely followed by lung cancer and she was faced with having part of her lung removed followed by Chemotherapy.

Despite being sick Ann stayed cheerful and positive and even when the treatment caused her to lose her hair she matched her outfits with brightly coloured bandanas and battled on, always wearing that huge, beautiful smile of hers.

Ann was an amazing, caring, thoughtful person who, although fighting her own battles, always took the time to support and comfort her friends and family when they needed help.

Towards the end of 2011, just as we hoped that she was winning her battle, Ann was dealt a final crushing blow ........... The cancer had spread to her brain and further tests revealed that her condition was terminal.

Once again Ann donned her boxing gloves ready for a fight and gruelling radiotherapy sessions but sadly this was one battle that couldn't be overcome and in June 2012 Ann was taken from our lives leaving a huge gaping hole and some wonderful memories.

Ann, you were the bravest, most inspirational woman and you will be greatly missed by everyone who knew you.
