Welcome to my blog...I will try to update every few days..

I am attempting to raise money for two charities, Breast Cancer and Pancreas Cancer.... My very good friend Kath, who I miss dearly, died in Nov 2010 of Breast Cancer, and my daughter Amy's Irish Dancing teacher's husband died of Pancreas Cancer in January 2010, his name was Rodger I never knew him personally, but from people who knew him, he was a kind and wonderful person...I have decided to lose weight over the next 5 months, my goal is 5 stone, but realistically if I get to between 3 and 5 stone I will have accomplished something... I have been battling my weight since I was about 16, I have tried everything you could think of... even been wrapped in seaweed clay (thats a long story), anyway enough about me.... I will try and log on every few days with an update... I do not want anyone to donate anything they cant afford... I will be grateful for any donation, hopefully in years to come they will eventually find a cure for Cancer..... xxx ps. I wont bore you with what I am eating or not eating every day, but if I have a lapse and cheat I will let you know....

Okay first weigh in today.... lost 3lbs... oh well its a start, Im a bit embarrased to tell you my starting weight, I may tell you one day.... I wont bug you every day with the link to donate...Il wait till end of the month when its pay day (lol).. I have 157 friends on facebook and if everyone pledged £5, that would be brill... I will try family members and non FB friends to make up the rest... think I am focused now, but unfortunately I may lapse at the weekend, I have a wee party to attend. (anne summers party)... will let you know in a few days how i get on... speak soon...
