I decided to raise funds to give to The Well as it is a charity that needs support. My wife Jane visits the Well regularly and is part of its Business Group. Since retirement Jane has had breast cancer. The Well has offered support to her during the last few years through its Complementary Therapy and Beauty. It is a haven for those people across Barnsley as a district who have experienced Cancer. But all places such as these who give support to so many through the use of volunteers and paid professionals need funding to pay for the premises, products used and all the cost from running a business through charitable status.

By keeping fit through cycling and doing something that I enjoy I feel that I can contribute in a small way to benefit all those brave people who have faced Cancer. My mother, father, close friends and of course Jane are a few of those people in my life who have had to deal with this with my support.
