I'm running the New York Marathon on November 1st this year. I've never actually run a marathon before so the prospect of quickly getting in shape to run over 26 miles is both exciting and scary at the same time as the reality finally sets in after having my place confirmed 2 weeks ago !

I know everyone normally has a reason for doing these events and it was only when I heard about Whizz Kidz that I was inspired to do this Marathon and raise money for a great charity.

Whizz-Kidz is a charity that is all about giving disabled children the chance to lead a more independent life. They are virtually 100% reliant on voluntary funds.
