Story
As many of you may or may not know my brother, Pambos, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma 12 years ago and lost his battle to this awful cancer within four months. He was 43 years old.
On Saturday 9th September I will be partaking in a 50km (31 mile) walk from Runnymede (near Thorpe Park) to Henley on Thames. It is estimated that it will take between 10-17 hours!!! (Yes, I am mad) and that's without stopping at any shops on the way! I want to raise at least £500 for this worthy cause so please can you sponsor me for as little or as much as you can.
Below is a little bit more about the Lymphoma Association:
We are the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting people affected by lymphoma.Every 28 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. You can help make sure that everyone coping with a diagnosis gets the best possible information and support, treatment and care. With your help we can be there for everyone who needs us. We all have the potential to make a difference, there are so many opportunities for you to get involved and help support people affected by lymphatic cancer. Thank you.
