Please help me in fundraising for Dementia NI.

Dementia NI is a local charity supporting people living with dementia. People with dementia taking action, having their voices heard and improving the lives of everyone who has dementia. 

I’m doing this in memory of my Granny Eileen who passed away peacefully on 11th May 2020 due to dementia.

On 14th February my gran had a fall at home and suffered a broken hip, she was taken to hospital for surgery but never really recovered after it. She stopped eating and was given palliative care by fantastic, caring nurses. Sadly a private funeral had to take place due to government restrictions on social distancing but the streets were lined with family, friends and neighbours. It was very emotional seeing so many people on the streets, my gran was well known and loved.
