Four men of a certain age, Andy Wells, Pete Humphries, Simon Chesterman and myself have decided to canoe the Great Glen trail in May.

This 60 mile journey follows the Caledonian Canal including 29 locks which we will have to carry the canoes around and then the open water of the Lochs of the Great Glen, Loch Lochy and Loch Ness.

We will be wild camping so need to carry all our equipment, food and provisions for the five day journey.
