The two of us have both witnessed in close quarters the terrible impact that cancer has on those unfortunate enough to fall victim of the disease. We have also seen the lasting affect that cancer has on their family and friends.
No one should face cancer alone. Everyone should have someone to turn to and that's where Macmillan is there to help. Right from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to their treatment and beyond, they are a constant source of support, giving energy and inspiration to help people take back control of their lives. This is why we have chosen to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
To mark our 30th year on the planet, the two of us will be running a total of ten organised 10km races, inside the space of 10 months, within a combined time of under 10 hours. As this is a bit of a mouthful we have called this the "10:10:10 challenge". The races will take us all over the country and as we are not seasoned runners (more like seasoned drinkers), this is quite some challenge!

- 2 Castles (Warwick)
- Gateshead
- Cardiff
- Worcester (replacing the cancelled Plymouth run)
- Bournemouth
- Leeds Abbey Dash
