Story

Hi Everyone

My name is Deirdre and for those of you who don’t know me, animal welfare is my absolute passion.

Much so that I have taken the plunge to run my first ever marathon - 2018 London Marathon to help raise money for PDSA -a charity that treats sick and injured pets.

My goal is to raise £2000 and I can only do this with your help.

To put into perspective your support would help fund:

A PDSA Pet Hospital for a day (£2,500)

Three weeks of intensive care for a sick pet (£1,500)

Pain relief injection for 500 sick pets (£1,000)

I would be very grateful if you could support me on this challenge to help provide treatment for our friends with furry feet.

As well as providing updates through this page I have created a blog to document my journey along the way and would really enjoy your company along the way! Please follow me on:

Let’s help turn breaking hearts into beating hearts.

We believe that all pets should have access to veterinary care – regardless of their owners’ financial situation. Over 100 years, we’ve helped more than 20 million sick and injured pets – providing life-saving vet care to more vulnerable pets than any other animal charity in the UK today.
