We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Following mum's funeral yesterday, in her memory and as she didn't want flowers, we are kindly requesting that if you would like to make donations, however big or small, that these be made to the Diabetes UK charity.

Our mum was first diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 1990. Diabetes caused mum lots of health problems over the years particularly so in the last few years ending up on dialysis. Mum fought bravely with her health complications even more so when diagnosed with Melanoma last year. With all of her health issues, we know that dealing with and managing her diabetes was a big part of mum's life and we know that research into and care of people with diabetes would be a cause close to mum's heart, indeed this was a charity of her own choice.

Please feel free to donate anything you can and you'd be welcome to leave your condolences and personal memories of mum as part of your donation.

Lots of love,

Luke, Russell and Alexander
