Story

With your help Carers Network can make sure carers receive the help and support they need, so that no one cares alone.

Last year, when I ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2022 for Carers Network, I did it because my husband has a chronic illness called MS and he had lots of hospital appointments to go to, which he needed my help to attend. I often had to take holiday time to go with him to the hospital.  Other carers told me that they had to give up their job because they could not work as their loved one needed much greater care. This often tipped them into poverty. This year in 2023, I vowed I would run for carers again.

Unfortunately this year I can't run in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 8th of October. If you are able to make a donation to Carers Network it will go to supporting unpaid carers in London and it is very much appreciated.
