Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on behalf of Carers Network which exists to support unpaid carers on 9th of October.

I am a carer as my husband has Multiple Sclerosis which means his mobility is impaired.  I have gone through the process of helping my husband with filling in government forms for benefits which are very long and complicated, and the DWP did reviews in person of the application; my husband needs assistance from me to get to appointments as he is a wheelchair user.

Carers Network can make sure carers receive the help and support they need, so that no one cares alone!

This great team offer information, advice, drop-ins (online), coffee mornings, BizzyBox Try-out events, Zumba (online), creative writing and all this in addition to providing carer's assessment for new carers or reviews for carers who previously had a carer's assessment.
