We fund medical research to help find a cure for PSC

Story

PSC Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis is an incurable autoimmune liver disease.

I am doing a Christmas Day swim challenge with Karen, swimming at sunrise at Portobello beach in Edinburgh to raise awareness and to fund research.

We plan a few other challenges, still to be revealed!!!

My daughter Darragh was diagnosed aged 14 and is now 24.. I want my daughter and everyone with PSC to have treatment options other than liver transplant.

I am working as part of a team with my friends Susan, Karen and Clare. Susan’s son Callum is currently awaiting liver transplant and Karen his sister will potentially give a portion of her liver to treat her brother. Our friend Clare having lived for years with PSC had  a transplant 6 years ago and now is an inspiration, advocating for research.

As a team we'll do whatever we can between now and the end of the year to raise research funds for the only charity that deals with this rare illness, www.PSCSupport..org.uk
