In July 2005, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, when I was just 29 years old.
I had surgery, followed by a course of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and am now on Herceptin for a year..
Keeping my fingers crossed the cancer never comes back!
Update
Unfortunately, in November 2006, I found out the cancer had spread to my liver, so is now classed as 'incurable'.
I'm currently having chemotherapy to hopefully control this for a while.
On 23rd September this year, I launched myself out of a perfectly good plane, to raise money for the charity 'Breast Cancer Campaign'.
The jump was a 10,000 feet in total.. 5000 freefall and 5000 with a parachute
What can I say?
WOW!! What an amazing experience! I'd do it agin tomorrow if I could. Absolutely fantastic!

People have been so generous in their sponsorships, and I'd love to be able to raise even more towards the vital work of this charity.
The money everyone donates, will help towards finding better diagnostic techniques, better treatments, and hopefully even a cure for Breast Cancer.. So the more I can raise, the better the chance we all have of beating this disease!
Anything you can spare would be hugely appreciated!
You can also keep up to date with what's going on with me (if you'd like to!), at my Blog page
I have to admit though, I am rather lazy on the blogging front!
Many thanks to everyone who's sponsored me!
This page will be staying open for a while yet, so there's still plenty of time to sponsor my madness!

Donating through Justgiving is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. Breast Cancer Campaign will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
