Story
This year our branch has been hit hard due to the pandemic, with many of our usual fundraising events being cancelled. This has had a huge impact on our funds that we rely on so desperately to help us look after the cats and kittens that come into our care. Our volunteers have worked tirelessly throughout, under tight restrictions, to keep everyone safe and to find loving forever homes for those whose paws have padded through our branch.
Every penny really does help, so we are pleased to announce we are having a Christmas Raffle this year and tickets are now available here.
To be in with the chance of winning the purrfect Christmas Hampurr follow the instructions below and buy a ticket to our Christmas raffle, all while helping cats in the process!
RAFFLE
Tickets cost £1 each, to enter online there is a minimum payment of £2 so you will receive two entries to the raffle draw.

Ticket sales close on at Midnight on Thursday 16th December 2021.
The draw will be held on Sunday 19th December 2021 at 7pm live on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Deesidenortheastscotland.

- Please ensure that you supply an email address otherwise we cannot send you copies of your raffle tickets, or get in touch with you if you win.
- Please tick the box next to ‘I'm happy to share my contact details with Cats Protection’. This will ensure we are able to get in touch with you.

TICKETS
Simply make a donation of £2 for two tickets or £10 for 10 tickets and JustGiving will direct the funds to the charity. We will then enter your name and ticket numbers into our raffle draw automatically. You will receive an email if you are a winner.
Tickets cost £1 each. Every £2 donation = two entries.
You can also purchase 10 tickets for £10. Every £10 donation = 10 entries.
JustGiving has a minimum donation of £2. We cannot change this.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- The draw will take place on Deeside and Kincardine's Branch Facebook Page on 19th December 2021 at 7pm. All funds raised will go to Cats Protection. Registered Charity 203644 (England & Wales) SC037711 (Scotland).
- Promoter: Dominic Sullivan, Cats Protection, National Cat Centre, Chelwood Gate, Haywards Heath, RH17 7TT.
- The raffle is registered under The Gambling Act 2005 with Wealden District Council, Shared Environmental Health Service, Rother District Council, Town Hall, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex TN39 3JX.
- This raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain only (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).
- The cost of each ticket is £1. For online sales a minimum sale of £2 (two entries) is required. If you would like to purchase one ticket please get in touch with the branch/centre (details above).
- Gift Aid cannot be claimed on the sale of raffle tickets and is in breach of HMRC regulations. Any ticket purchases with Gift Aid added will be cancelled and refunded.
- Entrants must be 18 or over, if a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize.
- Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.
- Tickets are not to be sold on the street or door-to-door.
- Any money received after the arbitrary/closing date 16th December 2021 including late entries will be treated as a donation to help fund the work of Cats Protection and will not be refundable or eligible for the draw.
- Winners will be notified via email within three weeks of the draw. A list of winners will also be published on https://www.facebook.com/Deesidenortheastscotland.
- The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
- For tickets purchased online, you must ensure you follow the instructions and tick the box to say we can view your email address. Any payments received where this box isn't ticked will be treated as general donations because we have no way of contacting you. No responsibility is taken if raffle numbers are sent using an email and not received.
- Participants purchasing tickets using JustGiving, subject to terms and conditions, will receive emailed ticket numbers within 48 hours if requested.
- The deadline for entries on the JustGiving site is 16th December. This is 72 hours prior to the closing date/time to allow time for the entry to be processed.
- Cats Protection reserves the right to use the winner's name for promotional purposes.
- Donations made not in equal pounds will be rounded down to the nearest £1 when calculating the number of raffle ticket entries. Eg if you donate £2.80 you will only receive two entries into the draw with the remainder being treated as a donation.
- Cats Protection respects, and is committed to protecting, your privacy. The personal information you provide will remain private and will only be used for the purposes of the raffle unless you give permission otherwise.
