I connected with the people behind Bridges for Music through my musical brother Ruud Kalis (aka TantRut) who brought me into the beautiful Ubuhlanti Tribe at AfrikaBurn this year. There I got to learn about what this organization strives to offer the younger generation of Cape Town's oldest township, Langa. What they are doing is noble and it is a tremendous cause for us as DJs to get behind.

TantRut has already been donating 100% of his earnings as a DJ to this academy, who recently opened their doors and accepted the first batch of students, offering courses in music production, mindfulness and entrepeneurship. I got to see what they were all about when I was in South Africa earlier this year, and therefore am more than willing and enthusiastically share my support for this organization and will strive to raise funds on their behalf to support the ongoing growth and development of the academy.
