Story
The Go Dharmic 2019 Challenge is to climb Mt Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales. At an elevation of 1,085 meters above sea level, Snowdon is the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. It is located in Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd. Anyone that knows me and Vishal know that this will be a challenge for us. My mum and cousins have recently started volunteering and supporting Go Dharmic, and it's a wonderful charity that helps people in need.
The fundraising will go towards the cause 'Shape the future'. Millions of children around the world grow up without basic access to quality education. We have visited hundreds of schools in India alone, where there are no books apart from textbooks, there is no library where children can study in comfort, peace and quiet. Go Dharmic aims to develop libraries which help one million children around the world by 2026. The learning spaces are bright, fun, comfortable spaces which the children can call their own.
Go Dharmic started in 2011 as a single campaign to promote organic farming in the UK. Today we are a movement for compassion with hundreds of volunteers. We work both online and off to make the world a better place through our campaigns. We are aiming to provide education facilities to 1 million underprivileged kids, feed the homeless, serve during disasters, funding curable blindness operations and much more. Our goal is to become a powerful force for peace and goodness in the world, relieving suffering in all it's forms
