We support EHE patients and EHE research to combat and defeat EHE rare cancer

Story

Simone and I will be running next year's half marathon.

I'll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on the 2nd April 2023, in support of my close friend, Paul, and the incredible EHE Rare Cancer Charity.

For those of you who don't know Paul's story, he was diagnosed last year, at just 27, with EHE, a rare cancer that originates in the blood vessels. The tumours are widespread across his liver and lungs, amounting to over fifty tumours in total - the largest being over 5cm in diameter. He's stable right now, but others aren't so lucky.

I am lucky to call Paul a close friend, Paul has been an inspiration to me and convinced me to start running after he decided to run to my work rather than drive. That night, I decided I would start running again, I'm by no means very good, but to run alongside this inspiring man is an honour. We will also be running alongside our other close friends and family.

I'm proud to be running alongside Paul, and the rest of his family and friends in support of this great charity. Any donations, however big or small, would be greatly appreciated. It means a lot.

EHERCC supports EHE rare cancer patients, raises funds for critical research, and promotes EHE awareness. We help those with EHE while funding research to understand and ultimately defeat EHE, because people with rare cancers should not feel forgotten. We are determined to ensure they are not.
