In March 2020 Deirdre and Grainne are travelling to the wilderness of Kittila in Finland, 150km North of the Arctic Circle where the weather forecast is for a cosy -23degrees!  No we haven’t lost our minds,
we are taking part in this amazing adventure to raise funds for Debra Ireland,an inspiring charity who work with children living with the painful skincondition EB (epidermolysis bullosa) which affects one in 18,000 babies inIreland.  The “butterfly” children have fragile skin which causes painful sores and blistering, both internal and external, for which there is no cure.  We will have no running water, heat or electricity but will be nothing compared to the bravery and resilience that these children exhibit on a daily basis.  We are targeting to raise €15,000, less travel costs, for Debra Ireland.
