Story

As a team, we have decided to run the Brighton half marathon in Feb 2022, to raise vital funds for two charities that have helped care for two of our loved ones who we have sadly lost to cancer earlier last year. The work of both Martlets Hospice and Macmillan has proven to be invaluable, and we hope to give back as a token of our appreciation for the amazing work they continue to do for families in similar positions. Keith (Declan and Georgia's Dad / Daisy and Amy's Uncle) sadly lost his battle with cancer in March last year which has left a deep sadness for all that were fortunate enough to know him. Just one month after losing Keith, our dear friend Charlie also was tragically taken from us far too young, just shortly after his 35th birthday - again after a long battle with cancer. Throughout both Keith and Charlie's illness, they both showed such tremendous strength and resilience in the face of such hardship, and words cannot express how proud we are of them both, and how much we love and miss them. If you are able sponsor us and donate to a wonderful cause, any sized donation would be greatly appreciated. Please also feel free to join in cheering us along on race day - we will need all the support we can get!! :P This is a team page so anyone who fancies joining us please do :) We will keep you updated on training over the next few months. Big love to you all. For Keith and Charlie xx
